• regulates skin respiration, allowing sweat to escape unhindered
• regulates moisture, because wool absorbs a third of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet and releases the moisture back to the outside

Notes:

How to best care for wool:

• The general rule is: less is more! Wool doesn't always need to be washed; airing it out is usually sufficient.
• Please allow coarse dirt to dry and brush it off. Any remaining dirt should be pre-treated with liquid gall soap (dab it on, don't rub!) and then washed.
• We recommend hand washing in cold water (max. 30 degrees) or gentle machine washing on a cold wool cycle.
• Please ensure that the washing water and the rinsing water have the same temperature; the wool cannot tolerate a difference of 10 degrees, as this could cause it to felt.
• The wool does not tolerate wringing or rubbing.
